Yes, in honor of last night's Academy Awards, I am calling out a significant Avatar-inspired theme in the fall runway shows. McQueen started it with his super-futuristic Spring 2010 show, and now, thanks to the popularity of Avatar, this techno-ethnic look is more relevant than ever.
