Warm, Fuzzy & Woolly

It looks like this freezing winter has affected our beloved New York designers....it inspired the coziest outfits ever! These looks from the newest Fall '11 shows are serious inspiration for snuggling up to a nice fire or...a new Valentine? From Band of Outsider's decadent fur scarf to the pure simplicity of United Bamboo's sweater and leggings, I've found plenty of reasons to stay in until Spring!

Cliche OK

It's true, New Yorkers have a reputation for ensembles tous en noir, often with little or no color. This week at Lincoln Center, these ladies show us it's not ALL bad to wear a lot of black...

Blanket Statement

Who knew taking that old beautiful blanket from your grandparents' cabin and wearing it could look so good? These unique pieces are popping up everywhere; woolly Navajo inspired wools and Latin American looking weaves. Next place I'd look for them is the runway...

Prints Prints Prints!

A smattering of prints from the Fall shows thus far. Although most of the collections are predominately using solids, the prints that are showing up are varied and rich.

Speaking Volumes (Softly)

Beautiful dark fabrics are showing up layered, draped, cowled and built up on the runway for Fall 2010. Cozy and bold at the same time, this look is an easy way to look great even if it's -5 degrees!
